RCTC Student Beehive – March 29, 2017
Part of the assessment process includes connecting co-curricular activities to the institutional learning outcomes. What are co-curricular activities? What examples are there at RCTC?
Co-curricular?refers to?activities, programs, and learning experiences that complement, in some way, what students are learning in school?i.e., experiences that are connected to or mirror the academic?curriculum. Co-curricular activities?are typically, but not always, defined by their separation from academic courses.
At RCTC, these activities include the Student Senate, honor societies such as Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Delta Nu, program clubs and organizations such as the Law Enforcement and Automotive Clubs, and other similar groups.
