Are you ready to stand up against sexual assault?

Student Life presents “Sex, Drugs, and Final Exams: The Misconceptions About College” on Thursday, April 21, 11-12:15 p.m. in Hill Theatre.

This presentation by Olmsted County Victim Services takes a look at the common misconceptions about college as represented by the media and the general public. The media’s portrayal of unhealthy attitudes and beliefs around sex and drugs in college creates a culture of rigid gender norms and victim blaming.

Victim Services will address those misconceptions and how they influence our ability to take action by passively assuming it’s simply part of the “college culture. They will? provide real solutions on?how to take action when a situation arises that may lead to’sexual assault.
