HOW TO REQUEST A TRANSCRIPT
Your college transcript is the official record of all courses taken at RCTC. There are two ways to access your transcript. (RCTC does not accept transcript requests via fax machine nor do we fax transcripts)
RCTC transcripts cannot be released in the following scenarios:
? There is a hold on your RCTC record.
? There is a discrepancy (duplicate) on RCTC record.
? If you attended RCC prior to 1968 and/or RTC prior to 1990*
*RCTC will continue to require a transcript request and charge transcript fees for all archived records.
If you need an official copy of your transcript, you must make a request to RCTC through the National Clearinghouse. To send transcripts to a MnSCU institution, please see Send Transcript to another MNSCU Institution? below.
Unofficial Transcript (Student Copy):
You can access your full transcript for FREE via the eServices site. This transcript is identical to the official transcript in content; however it is not printed on security-paper and thus is not certified as an official RCTC document. Unofficial / Student copies of transcripts are not acceptable generally for employers or other colleges.
To get a FREE copy from the eServices site, follow these instructions or view the steps:
- Log in to the
- In the upper right corner select, “Switch to Student e-Services”.
- On the left menu select, “Grades and Transcripts”.
- Then select from the sub-menu, “Academic Record”.
- Select the option by which you want to view your academic record, then select “Get Academic Record”.
- Your academic record will be displayed by the criteria you selected. To get just a printable, text copy, select “Text Copy of this Academic Record”.
- Remember to log out of your account when finished.
Send Transcript to another MnSCU Institution
Students who plan to have a transcript sent to a Minnesota State College or University (MnSCU) do not need to complete a transcript request. Electronic transcript retrieval is now possible among all MnSCU institutions for students who are enrolled or transferring to another MnSCU institution. As a result it is no longer necessary for most students to order transcripts to be sent to another MnSCU institution. Be sure to ask staff at the receiving about their e-transcript retrieval procedures. Only in some cases will you be asked to order your transcript. RCTC will continue to require a request and will charge transcript fees for all archived records to any destination. This enhancement does not apply to the University of Minnesota.

Online registration for Fall 2016 is open to all current and returning students. You are able to register in the eServices site today! All students are strongly encouraged to meet with their academic prior to registering for any term.

DISC GOLF COURSE
Due to construction on the southeast corner of the stadium and needing to develop grass, the disc golf course will only be 6 holes. Holes that can be played are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 9. Unplayable holes include 6, 7, and 8. Please stay off the grass/dirt area southeast of the stadium at this time. Thank you.

2016 OUT OF THE DARKNESS CAMPUS WALK
The 2016 Out of the Darkness Campus Walk on the RCTC campus will take place on Saturday, April 30, to raise awareness and money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The goal of the campus walk is to help bring awareness to suicide and mental illness as well as set an example for other college campuses to participate.
Registration is currently open for the RCTC Campus Walk. If you would rather donate and not walk, you can donate at the registration site as well. On-site registration at the walk is from 8:30-10:00am. in the Field House. There will be short presentations starting around 10 a.m. followed by a Color Guard presentation. The walk is slated to start at 10:30am.
The AFSP site has several resources for those who?ve lost loved ones, are thinking about suicide, or who are concerned about someone. If you or a loved one need some help, please visit their site for more information. For more information on Out of the Darkness walks and how to help, please visit afsp.org.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD NOTIFICATIONS SENT
Scholarship award notices were recently sent to the official RCTC e-mail for all selected recipients. Please be sure to check your Clutter? or Junk E-Mail? folder.
Notifications will be sent around May 15th to students who were not selected. The reason for this delay is that while students who were selected to receive an award were recently notified, there are still scholarships that will become available again should recipients decline due to enrolling at another institution or if recipients forfeit their award after Spring Semester grades are posted. All applications are being kept on file for further consideration of scholarships that may become available.
