BEWARE OF EMAILS ABOUT PRIVATE LOANS
It has been brought to our attention that students are receiving emails regarding private loans available to students.THIS IS NOT FROM RCTC. It is a private company trying to get you to take out additional loans at higher rates, or it may be just a scam to access your computer.
Please be careful when opening and responding to these types of emails. If you click on the link, it says PRIVATE LOAN OPTIONS FOR ROCHESTER COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE. This is not us and we do not recommend opening these sites. If you have questions about loans contact the RCTC Financial Aid Office.

The RCTC Student Life program gives students the opportunity to expand their education beyond the traditional classroom. Students who get involved in extracurricular activities tend to do better in the classroom than those who don’t get involved. Major employers across the nation look for ?leadership skills? in prospective hires and being involved with RCTC’s chartered student organizations will give you the opportunity to gain these skills first hand. In a two-year college, many of the students involved in an activity graduate each year. This means that the opportunity for a freshman to immediately become active is much greater than in a four-year college. Many of the activities may also be taken as a class to earn credit toward a degree.
RCTC students can attend sporting events, concerts and theatre productions free of charge.
All RCTC sponsored events are alcohol and drug free.
Check out what is going on with student life: www.rctc.edu/studentlife. For further information on student activities, contact the Student Life Director, E-mail: Scott. Krook@rctc.edu or call (507) 285-7206.
