The B stands for Beatrice, but I don\u2019t like Beatrice. I like B. and that\u2019s all!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Junie B. Jones, a book series revolving around the misadventures of a boisterous and cheery kindergartner, took the world by storm nearly 20 years ago. It was the first book series written just so the children reading could have fun and was criticized heavily upon release. Jones is not a Crook,\u201d which will be performed 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p3\">RCTC\u2019s Theater Department is bringing her back for the fall play, with \u201cJunie B. Jones is Not a Crook!\u201d Written by Allison Gregory, this play explains why she can\u2019t seem to catch a break \u2013 her new furry mittens have been stolen, her best friends are fighting over the handsomest\u2019 new boy in kindergarten, and she finds a wonderful pen of many colors that she really wishes she could keep.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Although the story is light and humorous, it is not shallow. It will delve into various lessons on the power of friendship and giving up selfish desires for one another. The Theater Department invites students to come watch on the showing dates of 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Tickets will be available starting Monday, Oct. 9, costing $5 for adults and $3 for children and seniors.
