This season the men\u2019s basketball team boasts a handful of talented individuals who have earned themselves recognition for their achievements on the court.<\/p>\n

In Mankato, they proudly had players in double figures to beat Bethany Lutheran. In a following game, the Yellowjackets competed against Anoka-Ramsey in the NJCAA Region XIII championship game with Anoka beating RCTC 100 \u00d2 83.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnoka is really good, they\u2019re ranked No. 1 in country for a reason,\u201d RCTC coach Brian LaPlante said. \u201cThey\u2019re tough to defend. We didn\u2019t get off to a good start, burned a couple timeouts and we only shot 29 percent in the first half.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even with the devastating loss, the Yellowjackets kept up good moral. The players continue to work hard on and off the court through the rest of the season.<\/p>\n
