Course Description

This course covers basic electricity; Batteries, starting and charging systems, and electrical accessories. This course also covers the proper diagnosis and repair of these systems. This course aligns with ASE standard: Electrical/Electronic systems.

  5. Describe and test electrical accessories.
  6. List troubleshooting steps for electrical problems.
  7. Properly diagnose automotive starting and charging systems.
  8. Demonstrate proper ability to create different circuits on training boards.
