Course Description

This course covers engine designs and usage in today’s vehicles. We will discuss and understand proper operation of internal combustion engines and basic EV vehicle operation. Students will learn to diagnosis, evaluate, repair different engine components and determine what maintenance steps are involved in maintaining and repairing gasoline automotive engines to factory operating condition. This course aligns with ASE standard: Engine Repair.
