Course Description
This course is a hands-on lab. This course provides real vehicle repairs and work in the Engine Performance area. This Course provides hands on practice. After mastering our practice, we will simulate a shop and work on customers engine performance concerns. This course aligns with ASE standard: Engine Performance.

- Scan tool and Collecting Data
- Diagnose a Mass Airflow Sensor
- Diagnose Air Temperature Sensor
- Test a Throttle Valve Motor with Position Sensor
- Gasoline Sample
- Check Fuel Pressure
- Diagnose Camshaft and Crankshaft sensors
- Diagnose and locate oxygen sensors, Pre and Post Catalytic Converter
- Service EGR systems
- Service Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV)
- Operate a smoke machine, to aid in diagnosis
- Make various wire repairs, Including soldering, butt joints
