Course Description
This course focuses on the application of the Community Health Worker’s knowledge of the community and the ability to prioritize work. Emphasis is on the use and critical analysis of resources and on problem solving. The student is expected to complete a total of 96 hours of supervised practical experience that allows opportunities for the student to prepare for independent work in the Community Health Worker (CHW) role.
