Course Description
This course provides an opportunity for students to apply exterior finishes to a new home. Students will install siding, soffit, fascia, exterior trim, and explore decks and porches.

Learning Outcomes (General)
The student will be able to:
- Demonstrate safe and appropriate use of tools and equipment.
- Select, set up, and use appropriate ladders, scaffolds, and fall protection.
- Layout, cut and install wood, steel and vinyl siding products.
- Install flashings to industry standards.
- Understand how to build exterior columns, decks, and porches.
- Install soffit and fascia to industry standards.
- Understand codes and specifications associated with exterior finishing.
- Perform general carpentry skills while applying codes and safety standards.
