Course Description
Juvenile Law and Procedure will cover a wide range of contacts that law enforcement, correctional and probation officers may have with juveniles. Minnesota Juvenile Statutes, Juvenile Court system and the philosophy and theory for dealing with juveniles are introduced. Juvenile delinquency, status offenses, juvenile traffic offenders and children in need of protection and services are discussed.
