Course Description

This course introduces English learners to academic writing at the intermediate level. Students will improve their ability to write complex sentences, coherent paragraphs, and essays. They will also become familiar with the steps of the writing process, as well as the evaluation and effective use of sources in their writing.

  4. Produce unassisted writing using grammar structures taught in class
  5. Demonstrate critical evaluation of sources and use appropriate sources correctly and effectively to support their own writing.
