Course Description
This course is designed to be taken concurrently with Math 1111 Quantitative Reasoning. The course focuses on concepts, operations, and models involved with to prepare for Quantitative Reasoning topics.

The student will be able to:
- Convert between precents, decimals, fractions, proportions, and units.
- Use estimation to check reasonableness of solutions.
- Use scientific notation to represent large or small numbers.

- Read, interpret, and make conclusions about data that is summarized in a table or a graphical display.
- Identify key graph features and interpret in context.
- Evaluate linear and non-linear expressions including exponentials.
- Perform operations with fractions, decimals and precents.
- Use interval notation to represent inequalities.
- Calculate and interpret a constant rate of change (slope) and intercepts of a linear equation.
