Course Description

This course is designed for liberal arts and science students. The course begins with a review of the fundamentals of music including music notation, scales, key signatures, interval theory, melody, harmony, and part writing. Sight Singing and Ear Training are included in the course. Musicianship I is open to all, and it is the first course in a four-semester sequence of music theory offerings.
