Course Description
This course is the first of a two-part introduction to contemporary music recording technology. Students will learn basic terminology, concepts, and techniques in recording and production while gaining hands-on experience in Studio C and Studio D (Surround Sound Studio). Instruction emphasizes fundamental recording theory and practice, preparing students for individual studio work and collaborative production.
