Course Description

Students participate as veterinary technicians in a full-time 8 week off-campus learning experience in business, industry, and/or the public sector. The student is involved in the day-to-day work of the facility, including restraint and handling of animals, office procedures, clinical laboratory techniques, radiology, and surgery preparation. This course incorporates an on-line review workshop for students to review material studied during their education.
