Business Management - Marketing Associate of Applied Science
Program Overview:
The Business Management program provides an overview of the practical and theoretical knowledge needed to help manage organizations. The program is designed to provide opportunities for students to implement and test the skills they learn specifically within the marketing industry.
Program Outcomes:
Upon completion of the Business Management - Marketing program at RCTC, students will achieve the following outcomes:
- Apply marketing concepts, pricing, product development, consumer behavior, and distribution channels in designing an effective marketing plan.
- Demonstrate skills in strategic planning and digital marketing using data analytics tools and techniques including Google Analytics for forecasting and performance measurement.
- Identify key e-business concepts needed to create a new business or take an existing business online.
- Explain, analyze, and develop a cohesive consumer promotional plan and program implementation.
- Develop an organizational social media strategy plan.

Career Opportunities:
A two-year business marketing degree prepares students for entry-level roles that support core marketing functions such as an understanding customers, managing products or services, and driving organizational growth. The program focuses on practical, hands-on skills in digital marketing, data analysis, strategy and digital tools – allowing graduates to contribute immediately to a variety of business settings.
