Information Technology Associate of Applied Science

Program Overview:

The Information Technology AAS offers students an emerging Computer Science option with an emphasis in Data Science. This program prepares students to work in information technology. Students will engage in activities and learn how to select appropriate domains for data ingestion, develop solutions for cleaning data and requesting data from these domains, and integrate these solutions to identify visualization opportunities incorporating dashboarding techniques. The curriculum has been specifically designed so that students completing this degree will be ready for a job in an information technology field or transfer into a bachelor's program at a Minnesota University.

Program Outcomes:

Upon completion of the Information Technology program at RCTC, students will achieve the following outcomes:
