Laboratory Science Associate of Science
Program Overview:
RCTC offers an Associate in Science degree program in Laboratory Science. Upon completion of the Associate degree at RCTC, students can transfer and complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Program Outcomes:
Upon completion of the Laboratory Science program at RCTC, students will achieve the following outcomes:
- Explain the scientific method and demonstrate the ability to apply all aspects of it during scientific investigation.
- Demonstrate an ability to understand and apply biological concepts and processes.
- Show proper use of instruments and techniques in the laboratory.
- Demonstrate an ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Additional Information:
This program is articulated with the Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science offered by the University of North Dakota. Students who complete this program can continue next two years of study at UND and receive a Bachelor of Science degree in MLS.
