MASK POLICY AT RCTC
Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) complies with updated CDC guidance. We are requiring face
coverings in indoor public areas because Olmsted County currently has a high level of transmission.

As such, any person in a public or common space within the buildings of the RCTC campus must wear a cloth or
disposable face covering. Homemade cloth face coverings as outlined in
CDC guidance are acceptable. Individuals should wear their own face coverings, but if they do not have one, disposable masks will be provided.

  • Students at Main campus and the Sports Center can find a mask at the main entrances to the buildings while supplies last.
  • Students at Heintz Center can find a mask in the Dean’s Office in H1001A.

If you have questions about masking or anything COVID, please visit the RCTC COVID-19 webpage.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Rochester Community and Technical College wants to make sure that you’re recognized for your achievements. RCTC uses a platform called The Link to publicize your accomplishments like making the dean’s list and graduating from RCTC. This platform allows us to send news items about your achievements back to your hometown newspapers.

You always have the option to “opt-out” of publicity about your success by following the College’s non-disclosure process as per Student Data Practices Policy which can be viewed on our website. Students who do not want to disclose directory information must submit specific written requests to the Welcome and One Stop Center by contacting the office for additional information and/or to obtain a “Request for Non-Disclosure” form.

We look forward to celebrating your achievements with your local hometown media and online. Keep up the good work and be on the lookout for emails about your accomplishments!
