Office 365 One Tenant Project

RCTC Office365 Migration:

RCTC will be begin migrating all Office 365 services to the Minnesota State single tenant on Friday, June 8th thru June Monday June 18th till 8am.

From Friday June 15th at 6pm until Monday June 18th 8am, all campus email will be unavailable.

See the following FAQ’s if you have any questions regarding this migration or how to log in to Office 365 or access your campus email account.

  2. I see a different email address when I send an email or when someone looks up my name?

The Minnesota State College or University a user was first associated with will be the user’s default primary email address and your RCTC email will be in a folder within that mailbox. If you would like to change your default primary email address to RCTC, please contact the Technology Support Center at tech.help@rctc.edu, or call 507-536-5555.

 

  1. Where did the files go that were listed under “Recent” in my Office apps?

Your “recent” files may be gone or not work when you log back into Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, etc.) as they were linked to your old account.

Browse to them and click on the actual file to open them for the first time under your new account.
