Video Collaboration

Zoom Minimum Requirements

As of May 24th, 2021, individuals with older Zoom clients will be prompted to update to a recent version of the client before joining a session. This requirement will allow for a more consistent experience and ensure that participants have access to the features recently implemented by Zoom.

The Zoom application can be updated manually by clicking on the profile icon in the top right corner of the client and selecting check for updates. The latest version can also be obtained from Zoom’s download center.

The update usually takes less than 1 minute to complete and can be done in advance. Managed devices may require administrative permissions to complete the process, so please plan accordingly.

Updating your client regularly will avoid any potential disruption of service.
