Construction projects continue throughout summer

Bring a hard hat if youíre going to be on campus this summer.
There will be a flurry of construction projects. Hereís an overview of the renovations scheduled across campus immediately after commencement.

Plaza-Memorial Hall project
Work continues on the project, with anew flurry of activity beginning shortly after commencement including:
ï Moving of the Plaza Hall Anatomy and Physiology labs to the second floor of the Science and Technology Building.†The anatomy and physiology labs are moving to space currently occupied by ST205, 209, 211, 213, and 214.
ï Singley Hall 110 and 210 are getting new seating, finishes, and improved ventilation.
ï College Center 206/209 (current Echo office and piano labs) will be renovated.
East Hall
ï Currently empty office space on the second floor of East Hall will be renovated to house the art faculty beginning this fall.†Work is expected to begin in June.
Campus signage
ï New signage will be installed in the Heintz Center this summer.

Atrium
The Atrium exterior areas will receive a significant makeover this summer including:
ï New concrete, entry
ï Stair removal
ï Removal of driveway along Student Services building and East Hall
ï New plaza/patio area
Sports complex
ï New turf will be installed in the stadium beginning in July.
ï The Performance Court floor will be refinished and ready for use in July.
ï North Lot drive lane (in front of Sports Center) will be repaired and resurfaced.

Heintz B-Wing (H1100 suite)
ï HVAC improvements will continue.

College Center
ï Renovate restrooms on first and second floor near the bookstore and near the art gallery and Hill Theatre.

Electronic signage/marquee
ï New signs installed this summer.† Two 8-foot by 16-foot LED panels at the corner of Collegeview Road and County Road 22. (Identical product to electronic sign at Graham Park, though smaller)
