Lio, my dear dog, had a story that goes beyond the day he Left us in 2019, around 2:30 pm. It is a story filled with his Love for our neighborhood and the joy he brought to our lives.
Lio was not just a pet, he was like the neighborhood superhero. Guarding our cozy streets, where Lio took his job seriously. One night, Lio became a hero at 3:40 am. While everyone was asleep, a thief tried to break into our house. Lio barked loudly, waking me and my big brother. Neighbors quickly came together, Lio’s careful attention made him the real help in our neighborhood; he earned smiles and treats for keeping our neighborhood safe.
On sunny days, Lio’s energy was incredible, especially with the neighbor kids. Our backyard turned into a playground of laughs, he became their favorite play buddy. His gentle nature made him not just a dog, but a beloved friend to the little ones.
Lio loved playing fetch with the kids. He wagged his tail happily as he chased the ball they threw.
Lio’s adventures did not stop there. He was a city explorer, always curious and his muddy paw prints serve as proof of his adventure. The streets were his canvas, and each stroll was a new chapter in his journey.
But life surprised us with something we didn’t see coming. Lio got sick, and slowly, his happy energy faded away.
At 2:30 p.m, surrounded by love, he said goodbye to us, and his absence wasn’t Just felt in our house; our neighbors who loved him also felt emptiness in their hearts.
Looking back on Lio’s story reminds us that life is about love, Joy, and exploration. The memories of his playful moments and the kindness he showed stays with us, reminding us that every happy moment makes life important.
