RCTC vice president appointed to national student affairs board

Michael Anthony, RCTC’s vice president of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, has been appointed to the position of Senior Student Affairs Officers representative on the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Region IV-East Advisory Board.

Dr. Anthony has served on the NASPA advisory board for two years, but this SSAO position is new for NASPA’s Region IV-East.

“I am so pleased to be appointed to this new position for our region. Not only am I able to represent RCTC and Minnesota State through my role, but all senior Student Affairs officers across our region,” Anthony said. “I hope to provide a strong voice for my peers and make sure both two and four-year institutions are represented well. NASPA continues to be a strong advocate and voice for Student Affairs professionals all over the world, and I am so happy I can contribute to its mission.”

He will represent senior student affairs officers across a region that includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada.

Established in 1918 and founded in 1919, NASPA is comprised of more than 15,000 members in all 50 states, 25 countries, and eight U.S. territories.
