Commencement

May 13, 2026 • 6pm • Field House at the Regional Sports Center

The Commencement Ceremony will be live-streamed.

Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 graduates will be recognized during this year’s Commencement Ceremony.

The Commencement Ceremony is a fitting conclusion to a successful academic career and the earning of a degree or certificate. Based on hundreds of years of academic tradition handed down from European universities, this ceremony is a colorful, dignified, and festive recognition of the successes of the college and the students who merit degrees. Come celebrate with the RCTC community and your fellow Yellowjackets on their incredible accomplishment!

Book Return Reminder

Spring 2026 rental books are due back to the Bookstore by May 13, 2026.

All PSEO textbooks must be returned to the Bookstore by May 13, 2026.

Library books should be returned to Goddard Library by May 13th.

Book Buyback

  • Thursday, May 7th-Wednesday, May 13th from 8am – 4:30pm at the RCTC Bookstore.
  • Your RCTC ID is required.

If you purchased your textbooks, you may be able to sell them back to the RCTC Bookstore through the Book Buyback program. This program offers the maximum return, with students able to receive up to 40% of the new textbook price if the instructor has notified the Bookstore that the book will be reused for the upcoming term and the Bookstore needs additional copies. Once the Bookstore has filled its quota, the price will drop to the wholesale price. The wholesale price of the book is determined by national supply and demand, inventory in the wholesaler’s warehouse, and edition status.

  • The book will not be used on our campus again, or an instructor has NOT yet notified the Bookstore that the book will be used again.
  • The Bookstore has sufficient quantities of the book already in stock.
  • The textbook has been updated to a newer edition; therefore, the older edition has little or no value.
  • The condition of the book may be too poor or incomplete to be resold study guides and workbooks written in or missing pages, books with access codes, etc.
  • National demand determines resale value of books that are no longer being used on our Campus.
  • Students, please guard your books against theft.

Students, you can also sell your textbooks back online!
