RCTC TO PLAY IN NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Rochester Community and Technical College is excited to announce that RCTC is once again the host campus for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Men’s Division III Basketball Championships, and RCTC’s own Yellowjacket Men’s Basketball team will be competing in the tournament. The action begins Wednesday, March 11 in the Rochester Regional Sports Center with the championship game tipping off Saturday, March 14 at 5:00 p.m.

The top 12 men’s division III basketball teams from throughout the nation will play beginning at 12 noon on Wednesday include the #1 ranked Sandhills Community College in North Carolina; #2 ranked Mohawk Valley Community College in New York; #3 ranked Eastfield College in Texas; #4 ranked Rochester Community and Technical College; #5 ranked Richland College in Texas; #6 ranked Hostos Community College in New York; #7 ranked Montgomery County Community College in Pennsylvania; #8 ranked Herkimer County Community College in New York; #9 ranked Columbus State Community College in Ohio; #10 ranked Nassau Community College in New York; #11 ranked St. Cloud Technical and Community College in Minnesota, and #12 ranked Rhode Island College.
