Job Responsibilities
- Must be able to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision
- Coordinate with each athletic team to set up warm-up, in-game, and halftime music
- Ensure all music selections comply with Rochester Community and Technical College guidelines
- Must train game workers on how to operate the music system
- Proficiency in using an iPad is required
Note: You will not be required to work every home game but are expected to provide training and support for music setup.
Performance Expectations
Student must have:
- The ability to work with computers,
- Be reliable, prompt, professional, responsible, proactive.
- Must be able to work on their own without supervision.
Additional Notes
- Complete student worker training when assigned.
- Communicate any schedule changes to your lead worker in advance.
- Submit your payroll forms to gain access to eTime through e-Services (Student Employment).
- All hours must be recorded on eTime the day they are worked: https://www.rctc.edu/eservices/
- You are entitled to a 15-minute break for every four consecutive hours worked.
Performance Review
Students are eligible for a wage increase after they have worked 200 hours and based on performance evaluation. The area supervisor will assess the student employee’s performance, work attendance and attitude as it relates to the job tasks, RCTC values, service attributes, core outcomes, and interaction with students, staff, and visitors.
