Survey of Student Engagement
RCTC wants to hear from you – our students! The Community College Survey of Student Engagement was recently distributed to all students aged 18 or older via email on Tuesday, March 17th. You will open the survey by entering your StarID as the access code – this is the same as the 8-character ID you use to log in. It looks like this, for example: ab1234cd. The survey will remain open through April 15th. Our goal is to gather at least 1000 responses – Please help us reach this goal! Take the survey today!
A couple notes for you:
- You can only respond one time.
- If you are not yet age 18, you will receive a message that your access code is not valid. You won’t be eligible to complete the survey if under 18.
Results from this survey will provide information about our students’ experience and engagement at RCTC. Results will be compared to national benchmarks and other MN colleges. We’ll use the information to improve programs and services on campus, and to make the college experience better for you and future students at RCTC.
To thank you for your participation, we will enter all responders into a drawing to win one of four $50 gift cards to the RCTC Bookstore. Good luck!
Scholarship Deadline Approaching!
Reminder! Students need to complete the RCTC Foundation Scholarship Application by March 31st! It is one simple application that matches you with over $450,000 in available scholarship funding. These scholarships can help pay for tuition, textbooks, and class fees, making college more affordable.
Scholarships are awarded based on a variety of criteria, including:
- Area of study
- Financial need
- GPA
- Life experiences
- Interests
- And much more!!
The RCTC Foundation offers scholarships for incoming, returning, graduating, and transferring students, and applications are accepted only two times a year.
Don’t miss your chance to invest in your education.
Want to start preparing? There are three essay questions you will likely be asked:
- What are your future educational plans?
- What are your future career plans and goals?
- Briefly explain why you are a good candidate for an RCTC Foundation scholarship. Explain something unique about yourself. You can also write about an obstacle or barrier you have overcome.
Fall 2026 Registration
Your registration window is the time frame you can register for classes. Registration windows are made available to students mainly based on the number of credits they have earned. Earned credits are those that have been completed and graded.
To see when you can begin registration, log into eServices. You’ll find the ‘Registration Window’ tab under ‘Courses and Registration’. Select the appropriate Semester and then Submit to see when your window opens and closes. The last day to add most courses is the fifth day of the semester.
You are highly encouraged to meet with your academic advisor to create your degree plan for program completion which informs your registration each semester.
Summer Graduation Application
The deadline to apply to graduate this summer (summer 2026), is March 23, 2026.
