Job Responsibilities
Must have the ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Typing, filing, and running errands
- Assisting with website updates and inputting stats for various athletic programs
- Responding to inquiries and answering general questions
- Providing campus tours for prospective student-athletes
- Assisting at athletic events throughout the year as needed
Performance Expectations
Student must have:
- The ability to work with computers,
- Be reliable, prompt, professional, responsible, proactive.
- Must be able to work on their own without supervision.
Additional Notes
- Complete student worker training when assigned.
- Communicate any schedule changes to your lead worker in advance.
- Submit your payroll forms to gain access to eTime through e-Services (Student Employment).
- All hours must be recorded on eTime the day they are worked: https://www.rctc.edu/eservices/
- You are entitled to a 15-minute break for every four consecutive hours worked.
Performance Review
Students are eligible for a wage increase after they have worked 200 hours and based on performance evaluation. The area supervisor will assess the student employee’s performance, work attendance and attitude as it relates to the job tasks, RCTC values, service attributes, core outcomes, and interaction with students, staff, and visitors.
