International Application Checklist

Fall Semester: June 1*
Spring Semester: October 1

Please use this checklist as a guide to ensure all requirements have been submitted to
Rochester Community and Technical College for review.

Steps Required for All International Applicants

Completed and submitted online International Application for admission.
Official transcripts have been sent and translated by a certified evaluation
service if not in the English language.
- Secondary/High School transcripts have been sent for admission.
- College/University transcripts have been sent for transfer credits.
Copy of valid passport.
Copy of current visa (if visa holder).

English proficiency: Official TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo Test of English
Proficiency scores have been requested and sent to RCTC
(if English is not primary language spoken).
Affidavit of Financial Support has been completed and submitted.
- Student is funding own education: Student affidavit has been submitted
  along with a certified bank statement signed by a bank official.
- Sponsor funding student’s education: Student affidavit, sponsor
  attestation affidavit has been submitted along with a certified bank statement from the
  sponsor’s bank account signed by a bank official.
Transfer Authorization Form if the applicant will be transferring from
another U.S. college or university.
