Welcome to Spring 2026 Semester
Welcome to RCTC! Your education here opens doors to new, unexpected opportunities. It’s wonderful to have our new and returning students fill the campus and online learning community again! We, in Student Affairs, are committed to your success and begin each semester with this communication campaign called “RCTC Student Beehive” – named in recognition of our campus yellowjacket mascot Sting. Each week on Wednesdays, we’ll share the most relevant and important information about “Bee-ing” successful in accomplishing your goals at RCTC. Also, “The Hive” is an online blog where all of this information is stored and is available to you 24/7. Bookmark this site and visit it often for all the Beehives and other helpful information.
Last Day to Add and Drop Courses
RCTC students can make changes to full term schedules through the 5th day of classes. The final day to add and drop full-term classes is this Friday, January 16th. You can manage your class schedule via eServices.
Students are responsible for verifying that any change was processed correctly by printing a copy of their academic schedule whenever they make a change. After the deadline to drop a course, refunds are issued only for complete withdrawals in accordance with the published RCTC refund schedule.
Bus Passes
A limited number of Rochester Public Transit bus passes are available based on student need. To be eligible, students need to have a demonstrated financial need and enrolled in classes during the term that bus passes are requested. Additionally, bus pass requests are limited to the Rochester area. To learn more about the RCTC Emergency Bus Pass program, and eligibility requirements, please reach out to Anfa Diiriye, Resource Coordinator, at [email protected].
