FINAL EXAMS AND PROJECTS
Preparation: Make sure to review your notes, textbooks, and any other study materials. Create a study schedule to manage your time effectively. Utilize campus resources such as the Learning Center for tutoring and study groups.
Resources: Take advantage of office hours with your professors to clarify any doubts and get additional help with your coursework.
GRADES AND ACADEMIC STANDING
Check Your Grades: Regularly check your grades on your eServices portal to ensure there are no discrepancies. If you notice any issues, contact your instructor.
Academic Standing: Understand your academic standing and what it means for your future courses and financial aid. If you’re struggling, seek academic advising to discuss your options. RCTC requires students to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and successfully complete 66.67% of their registered credits to meet satisfactory academic progress.
COURSE REGISTRATION
Plan Ahead: Register for next semester’s courses to get the classes you need. Meet with your academic advisor to ensure you’re on track with your degree requirements. You can register for classes through the eServices portal.
Backup Options: Have backup courses in mind in case your preferred classes are full. Use the Grad Planner to help with this process.
RCTC BLOCK PARTY
The Fun Committee is thrilled to invite you to our first annual Block Party! This exciting event will take place outside of the Atrium, and we will have free food for all staff, faculty, and students.
During the Block Party, you’ll have the opportunity to play games, chat with your peers and students, learn from RCTC Clubs, and celebrate all the amazing achievements we’ve accomplished this year.
We hope you can join us for this special and fun-filled event!
SELF-CARE AND MENTAL HEALTH
Take Breaks: Make sure to take regular breaks during your study sessions to avoid burnout. Practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga. RCTC offers various mental health resources to support your well-being.
Seek Support: If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to reach out to campus counseling services or talk to a trusted friend or family member. You can schedule appointments with a licensed mental health therapist through the Student Health Portal.
