RCTC Student and Staff Photo ID Cards:

Students, faculty and staff of RCTC are issued a RCTC photo ID card. The card serves as your library card and is also required for other campus services including financial aid, bookstore, access to athletic facilities, and event admission.

RCTC Photo IDs are issued at Goddard Library. Students, faculty and staff of WSU are issued a WSU photo ID card in the WSU Technology Support Center, GL118.

RCTC Photo ID cards are issued during the following hours: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Expanded hours will be available the week prior and week of the new semester.

Students will need to bring:

  1. Your RCTC Stinger ID number
  2. Proof of registration (i.e. your class schedule)
  3. One of the following current photo ID’s: a Driver’s License, a State ID, a Military ID, or a valid Passport. Your name on your current photo id must match and be spelled exactly the same as your name in the college’s student database.

Distance Education Student ID Cards:

RCTC students registered for online courses can obtain either a RCTC Photo ID Card at Goddard Library or a Distance Education Student ID Card. Distance Education Student ID Cards do not have a picture on them and cannot be used for some on-campus activities such as at the campus Fitness Center. Distance Education Student ID Cards enable remote access to library resources the same as the RCTC Photo ID Card.

To obtain a Distance Ed Student ID Card, students must email request to IDcards@rctc.edu with the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Stinger identification number (number is on your class schedule)
  3. Your mailing address. Your mailing address MUST match the address in our system.

Concurrent Enrollment Student ID Cards:

RCTC students participating in the Concurrent Enrollment program at area high schools will be issued a Concurrent Enrollment Student ID Card. This ID card will be mailed to your high school and will be distributed to you by your instructor. The Concurrent Enrollment Student ID Card will enable remote access to library resources the same as the RCTC Photo ID Card.

If you have a question about the Concurrent Enrollment Student ID Card,  call the Welcome and One Stop Center at 507-285-7557.

Goddard Library Cards for Non-students:

Community members who are not students at RCTC may obtain a Goddard Library card. This card will enable community patrons usage of Goddard Library resources including check-out of materials. We are not able to provide ILL support, access to study rooms, nor remote access to databases, e-books, and other electronic resources with this card.

Lost ID Cards:

Students can get a replacement ID card at the Goddard Library.  There is a required $5.00 plus tax handling fee, which will be billed to your student account. ID cards are permanent and also serve as a library card.
