THE LAST DAY TO ADD AND DROP CLASSES
RCTC students can make changes to their full-term schedules through the fifth day of classes. The final day to add and drop full-term classes is Friday, August 29. You can manage your class schedule on RCTC eServices. Stay updated on the registration deadlines.
Students are responsible verify that any change was processed correctly by clicking View/Modify Schedule whenever they make a change. After the deadline to drop a course, refunds are issued only for complete withdrawals in accordance with the published RCTC refund schedule.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM FINANCIAL AID
Your award notice displays an estimate of the funding you will receive for a full-time enrollment, by default. You can change the parameters in eServices to see your estimated awards for other credit levels.
When it is time for disbursement, ACTUAL amount of funding applied to your account will be based on the number of credits you are registered for as of the end of drop/add for the term. Courses graded as FN (never attended) are not eligible for financial aid funding.
Financial Aid can only be used to pay for courses that are required for your declared major. Learn more about disbursement details explaining when and how Financial Aid is disbursed at RCTC and how to access that information in the Financial Aid Guide.

HIVE SUPPLY – STUDENT FOOD CUPBOARD
Hive Supply is RCTC’s on-campus food pantry. Currently enrolled RCTC students have access to Hive Supply which is stocked with non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, and other items such as toilet paper, laundry soap, pans, and utensils. Inventory varies based on time of year and donations. Items in the Hive Supply are free to students in need. Students may visit once per week and collect a maximum of 15 items per visit. The Heintz Center has a new and updated location!

EMAIL ACCOUNTS – OFFICIAL MEANS OF COMMUNICATION
Did you know Campus Email is RCTC’s official means of communication with students?
All RCTC students are provided with an email account through the College. This email account is the official means of communication from the College. Your campus email login format is: StarID@go.minnstate.edu – Example: rc1234tc@go.minnstate.edu. Email can be accessed at www.outlook.com/ or on the Outlook app.
Set up your phone to access your email, calendar information, contacts, and tasks.
If you have questions, the best way to get your technology issues resolved is to submit a ticket. When submitting a ticket please give as many details as possible. Request help or report a hardware, software, network, application or other issue or call 507-536-5555.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS CENTER IS HERE FOR YOU!
The Academic Success Center (formerly the Learning Center) provides FREE tutoring and class help for all RCTC and WSU-R students! Build the skills and confidence you need to be successful in your classes and reach your academic goals. Our tutors are specialists in their content areas, and they are eager to help you.
The Academic Success Center can be found on the main floor of Goddard Library. There are many different options for getting help: drop in help, scheduled appointments with a tutor, group study spaces, and you can always email a question you have.
Visit the Academic Success Center during the open house on Tuesday, September 9 from 12-3pm for tours, refreshments, and to win prizes!
TOBACCO AND DRUG FREE CAMPUS – INSIDE AND OUT
RCTC is committed to creating a clean, safe and healthy learning and working environment, and therefore, is a tobacco-free campus inside and out. For the purposes of this policy, tobacco is defined to include, but is not limited to, smoking and smokeless tobacco products, such as lit or unlit cigarettes, pipes, cigars, snuff, smokeless pouches, and smoking equipment (whether filled with tobacco or any other type of material). The possession, use, and sale of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, other drugs, including marijuana, and other controlled substances is prohibited on the College campus or during any College sponsored activity, either on or off campus for students, College employees and campus visitors. Exceptions to this policy may be approved by the College President, consistent with Minnesota State policy 5.18.1.
