Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) is proud to announce that student Kyle Baron of North St. Paul, MN, has been selected as the inaugural Chime Workforce Scholar, a prestigious recognition awarded through the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. Kyle is a member of PTK and a second-year student in RCTC’s Surgical Technology associate degree program.
“In my time working with Kyle, he has been persistent and inquisitive about the program, which earned him a place this fall,” said Jennifer Dahle, RCTC Surgical Technology Advisor. “His attention to detail and determination are sure to make him an excellent Surgical Technologist.”
The Chime Workforce Scholarship honors high-achieving students pursuing career and technical education at two-year colleges. It provides financial support to help cover educational expenses for students enrolled in certificate or associate degree workforce development programs.
“Kyle is incredibly hardworking and deserving,” added Ellie Randall, RCTC Phi Theta Kappa Advisor. “We are thrilled that he has earned this scholarship.”
