Office Hours
The faculty and staff at RCTC are committed to your academic success. When it comes to challenges you may be facing in the classroom, the first resource you should consult is your instructor and their course syllabus. The course syllabus states office hours, which are timeframes that your instructor is available to meet with you and directly answer your questions. You are strongly encouraged to access the assistance of your instructor during these times.
Goddard Library
Goddard Library has many resources available to help students succeed, such as:
- Research books, articles, newspapers, streaming media, course assignment research help and more!
- The largest Technology Support Center lab on campus including printers, copiers, and scanners.
- Lots of quiet study spaces, group, and private rooms for reservation.
- The Compassion Corner, with supplies and ongoing scheduled events.
- Games, puzzles, coloring pages, and more!
Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center provides free tutoring for all RCTC students to help them build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their coursework and achieve their academic goals. Tutoring is available in-person and online with both drop-in and scheduled appointment options. Tutors are specialists in their subject areas and are eager to support you. They can assist with challenging course content and provide feedback on assignments.
In addition, the Academic Success Center offers scheduled programming focused on specific skills, such as time management, scientific calculator use, and exam preparation. Be sure to take advantage of this valuable resource!
