November 23 is the last day to withdraw from Fall semester 2022 full-term classes. Students unsure if they should withdraw from a course are encouraged to consult their academic advisor or counselor.
You can withdraw on the eServices site until 11pm or withdraw in person at the RCTC Admissions and Registration counter until 5pm. Students with “holds” on their record must withdraw in person.
The published withdrawal deadlines for short-term courses that start late or end early in the semester are available on the RCTC website.
PLEASE NOTE: Withdrawals do not impact GPA, but they do impact one’s completion rate and, as a result, may impact your ability to maintain satisfactory academic progress.
Come join us in the Hive at noon today, Nov. 2nd, to hear from the Olmsted County Elections Office and learn how to vote!
A few friendly reminders about COVID-19 reporting, vaccination, and exposures.
- All RCTC students who test positive for COVID-19 should continue to use this form to report it as soon as possible. The form is available in the RCTC COVID-19 Response link at the top of the RCTC website.
- Information on COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses, is available here.
- Get the schedule YOU want! Get the courses you NEED!
- Don’t take the WRONG courses! Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to review your degree plan.
- You’ll have time to handle any ROADBLOCKS. Unexpected hold? Financial aid error? Starting early gives you time to figure out any barriers that might keep you from registering.

The Technology Support Center (TSC) is available for students’ technical issues here at RCTC, which includes login and printing issues, installing free software for home use, and guided assistance with laptops and mobile devices.
Additionally, the TSC has digital equipment checkout items and provides traditional media supplies. A complete listing of TSC checkout items, supplies, and services can be found on the TSC website.
Educational discount tip: as a student, if you plan on purchasing any new technology devices or software, ask for an educational discount! Most retailers offer discounts for college students which can save you quite a bit of money.
Remember: always be very careful when someone contacts you that you were not expecting (with an offer of employment, a free prize, your password has expired, etc., and asks for your personal information, or for you to send them money). It is most likely a SCAM!
