Daily Screening Tool Requirement

To protect the health and safety of students and employees from the direct threat resulting from the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace to the extent reasonably possible, Rochester Community and Technical College is requiring mandatory screening of all employees, students, contractors, and visitors prior to entering campus buildings for potential exposure to COVID-19 and symptoms of COVID-19.  To accomplish this, RCTC, in concert with all Minnesota State colleges and universities, will be utilizing a web-based screening tool for anyone wishing to enter a campus building for longer than 15 minutes.  This screening requirement is in addition to the Governor’s Executive Order 20-81, all employees, students, and visitors are required to wear face covering in all buildings as well as other designated spaces, except in locations or circumstances exempted under EO 20-81.

Students, employees, and visitors must complete a self-screening assessment each day they wish to come to campus.  The screening tool is accessible by scanning the QR code above, scanning one of the QR code posters found across campus, or by visiting minnstate.edu/CV-19-RCTC. Printed copies of the form will be available at campus entrances should an individual not have access to a computer or mobile device.  The screening tool will issue a “pass” to the user via e-mail if s/he answers all questions appropriately.  That pass e-mail must be shown to RCTC staff working at building entrances before they can proceed.  If a user receives a red/fail e-mail, s/he should return home and consult with a healthcare professional.
