Every student at RCTC has an academic advisor or counselor, who is here to support students in their educational growth. Students should work closely with their academic advisor or counselor so that educational goals are met.
If you don’t know who your advisor or counselor is, you can download the list from the RCTC website or find your advisor/counselor at the top of your DARS report.
To meet with your advisor schedule an appointment using AdvisorVue or call the Advising Office Front Desk at 507-285-7260 for scheduling assistance. AdvisorVue is an online tool that will make scheduling your appointment easy, just log in with your STAR ID and password.

FALL 2023 Registration OPENS for returning, degree-seeking students according to the schedule below or view the list on the RCTC Website:
Current and Returning Students:

All windows open at 8am
You can check your window by logging in to the eServices site, selecting the ‘Registration Window’ tab and submitting the proper year/term.
All students are strongly encouraged to meet with their academic advisor or counselor prior to registering for any term. Email the Welcome and One Stop Center with any questions.
APPLY FOR GRADUATION
The Spring 2023 Graduation Application Deadline was February 21, 2023 but if you hurry, you can still get your application in and reviewed! The summer graduation deadline is March 21, 2023. Students seeking to graduate should complete the application and attach a DARS audit that reads “All requirements complete” before submitting it to the Records and Registration Office for processing.

If your audit states that you are missing a requirement, please schedule a meeting with your advisor or counselor as soon as possible by calling, 507-285-7260, or online at AdvisorVue.
SPRING INTO WELLNESS CHALLENGE
Boost your personal health and wellness by participating in a simple 12-day challenge. Each day of the challenge, simply complete a challenge activity from one of these categories: Fitness, Nutrition, Well-being, and Social.
PRIZES! At the end of the challenge, the first 25 students who submit their completed tracking sheet by the deadline will receive a $20 RCTC Bookstore gift card.
Sign up here by using your RCTC login (StarID@go.minnstate.edu) and completing the brief form. Or Email HealthServices@rctc.edu with your name and Star ID number. You will receive a confirmation email with an attached tracking sheet. Print this sheet or save it on your device.
Beginning March 20th, complete one daily challenge activity and record it on the tracking sheet.
