All those who have earned a high school diploma or GED will be admitted to Rochester Community and Technical College. Applicants who do not meet this criterion may still be admissible. Learn about conditional admission.
Lack of English skills should not be a barrier to admission or participation. In order to eliminate barriers, we take appropriate measures individually assess each student’s ability to participate. Based on the assessment, students are then provided with campus services or a referral to community services to be better prepared for successful participation.
Special and Selective Admission Programs
Special Admission Programs require an application to confirm all prerequisites are met. Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Selective Admission Programs require an application and use a scoring system that considers additional academic criteria to determine acceptance.

- Collaborative programs with Mayo School of Health Sciences (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Clinical Neurophysiology Technology, Radiography)
