DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, THE TESTING CENTER HAS REDUCED SERVICES. Please e-mail email@example.com for any questions.
The RCTC Testing Center is located in AT209.
NORMAL OFFICE HOURS:
8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Hours are subject to change due to testing schedules.
Students must contact the center at least two business days prior to taking any exams. NO DROP IN TESTING will be accommodated.
A PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED TO TAKE ANY SCHEDULED EXAM. Students who do not have a photo ID upon arriving at the Testing Center will NOT BE ALLOWED to test, even with verbal identification from staff or faculty.
Students should also be aware that electronic devices such as cell phones should be turned off while taking an exam. No backpacks or purses are allowed on the desks in the testing room. Students who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or are suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol may be asked to leave the Testing Center to maintain a proper testing environment.
RCTC and WSU-R offers testing services in a secure, quiet environment for students who cannot take a scheduled class exam. This has proven to be a valuable service as it is sometimes difficult to coordinate a time when students and instructors can meet for a monitored exam outside of class. In addition, students taking online or traditional courses at institutions other than RCTC and WSU may also arrange for testing times. The Testing Center also offers CLEP, DSST and Kryterion testing. See New Student Placement Testing.
Please note that the RCTC Testing Center cannot accommodate entire classes. This also means that instructors cannot use the testing services as a substitute for regular in-class exams.
NOTE: Drop-in services cannot be accommodated. This means that instructors cannot drop off exams and have students drop in during testing hours to take an exam without making an appointment.
RCTC students with disabilities should be referred to Travis Kromminga, Director of Disability Services, at 507-280-2968. WSU-R students with disabilities should be referred to Nancy Dumke, Assistant Director of the Disability Resource Center, at 800-342-5978.
