The new BUZZ in the CAD Department:
The Dimension 3D printer builds accurate models layer by layer using durable ABS plastic. This state-of-the-art technology provides our CAD students the ability to create accurate models to evaluate design concepts and test for functionality, form, and fit.
The Universal V-460 Laser is used for creating prototypes. We can transfer drawings from CAD directly to the laser to cut parts.
The ShopBot CNC router can machine a 5′ x 8′ piece of material. Students have made signs, molds, guitar bodies, a 3/4 size harp and many other fantastic projects.
