While there is not a formal admission requirement for the engineering program, students need to have college-level reading and writing skills.
In addition, the engineering curriculum requires a lot of mathematics and the beginning of the technical part of the curriculum is Calculus I (Math 1127) and Classical Physics I (Physics 1127), so students will need to progress mathematically to be ready to take those courses.
